For someone like me who doesn’t have a natural ear for accents, an audition, let alone a job requiring one can be a terrifying experience. You can limit yourself by not going for things you otherwise would have, or completely butcher auditions you would otherwise be great for.

I decided to preemptively work with Claudette for a couple of accents that make sense for me to know. Even after only a session or two, my confidence got a little kick and lo and behold I ended up with two different jobs requiring a German and a Texan accent.

I’m nowhere near a pro yet, but at least I know now where I can go to get help.
